Abstract

Sığır vebasının kısa tarihçesinden bahsedilmiş, doku kültürü aşısı
ve aşılamanın değerlendirilmesi hususlarında literatür bilgisi verilmiş,
doku kültüründe SN testi anlatılmıştır. Bu metodla yapılan
yoldamalarda elde edilen sonuçlar tablo I ve II de gösterilmiş, bunların
değerlendirilmesi ve tartışması yapılmıştır. 12 ilden aşılamadan
sonra ortalama 4 ay içinde alınan ve O- 6, 6- 12 ay, 1 - 2 yaş ve
2 yaştan yukarı olmak üzere 4 yaş grubunda toplarıarı 1174 adet serumun
SN testiyle yapılan yoklama sonuçlarına göre genellikle hayvanların
%90,6 sında antikor tesbit edilmiştir. Bu durum, aşılama
kampanyasının başarılı olduğunu göstermektedir.

A Serological Survey on Cattle Vaccinated with Tissue Culture Adapted Kabete «0» Strain of Rinderpest Virus

Abstract

In this paper a short histarical back ground on the cases of
rinderpest ın Turkey was reviewed and short explanatıon on the SN
method used for this work was made.
The purpose of this survey was to take an idea on the percentage
of immune animals vaccinated against rinderpest.
The samples of 1174 sera were taken from villages located ın
12 provinces of different part of Turkey. Sera were collected about
four monts after vaccinatıon ın 1972 - 73. The results of investigations
were divided into four parties : calf, weaned, yearling and
adult age groups.
Total percentage of immune animals were %90,6.
In C and W groups the immunity levels in same herds were
found to be under % 80.
The lower ineidence of immunity ın these groups ın some vtilages
may be depended on some factors such as escapes from vaccination
and vaccinations in the period of maternal passive immunity
which may prevent active immunity.
Generally, vaccination campagne was evaluated to be successful
ın Turkey as far as the results of this survey.
