Newcastle Hastalığı Virusu (Hitchner B1 suşu) ile Enfekte Edilen Farelerde Hemagglutinasyon-İnhibisyon Titreleri Üzerinde Çalışmalar

Abstract

Denemeye alınan 60 adet bir aylık fareler üç çeşit gruba ayrıldı. Virus (newcastle hastalığı virusu Hitchner B1 suşu) 10 HAÜ / 02 cc. miktarında subkutan olarak birinci gruba tek, ikinci gruba birer gün ara ile üç enjeksiyondan 15 gün sonra hayvanların retroorbital plexus'undan kan alınarak serumlerı çıkarıldı ve Beta usulü hemagglutinasyon - inhibisyon testleri ile incelendi. Testlerde pozitif kontrol serum olarak aşılı tavuk serumları kullanıldı.
Test sonuçlarına göre pozitf kontrol tavuk serumu 2 -8 lik bir titre, üç inokulasyon yapılan fare serumlarından 2 -7 titre elde edildi. Kontrol fare ve tek enjeksiyon yapılan fare serumlarından herhangi bir titre tespit edilmedi. Bu durum üç enjeksiyon yapılan farelerde humoral cevap oluşturacak düzeyde bir enfeksiyon meydana geldiğini göstermektedir.

Studies on the titers of hemagglutination - ingibition in mice which were infected with Hitchner B1 Strain of newcastle disease virus.

Abstract

Sixty mice, which were to be tested at a month of age, were divided into 3 equal groups. In the inoculations, Hitchner B1 strain of Newcastle virus was used. The mice in the first group were inoculated once whereas the ones in the second group three times at intervals a day. The third group was the control. Fifteen days after the last injection, blood was taken from the retroorbital plexus and serums were prepared and examined by means of Beta hemagglutination - Inhibition tests. In the tests, inoculated chicken serum was used as positive control.
According to the test results, the titers of the positive control and the second group were 2 -8 and 2 -7 respectively. However no titer results were obtained from the control and first group.
These results show that an infection at a level to form humoral response appeared in the group of mice that were inoculated three times.
