Öz

Immunomodulators and their usage in Veterinary Medicine
Immunomodulater drugs which have been extesively using for the treatment of cancer and autoimmun diseases, and in tissue transplantation in human beings become more and more popular in Veterinary field in order to nonspesific stimulation of immun systems.
Nonspesific stimulation of humoral and cellular immunity by means of physiologic, sentetic and microbial immunomodulators have been suggested to decrase the incidance of infectious diseases.
Immunomodulator drugs having anti-tumoral and immunsupressive effects have been just started to use in the treatment of autoimmun diseases and cancer of pet animals.

Öz

İnsanlarda kanser tedavisinde, organ transplantasyonlarında ve otoimmun hastalıkların tedavisinde yoğun kullanım alanı bulan immunomodulatör ilaçlar/maddeler, Veteriner Hekimliğinde hayvanların immun sistemlerinin non-spesifik uyarılmaları amacıyla önem kazanmaktadır. Fizyolojik, Sentetik ve Mikrobiyel İmmunomedulatörlerin humoral ve sellular bağışıklığı , non-sepesifik olarak güçlendirmeleri, özellikle enfeksiyon hastalıklarının insidensinin, azaltılması için önerilmektedir. Anti-tümor etkili ummunomodülatör ilaçlar ile immunosupresif etkli immunmodulatür maddeler ev hayvanlarının kanserinde ve otoimmun hastalıkların tedavisinde kullanılmaktadır.
