The Diagnosis of Bovine Brucellosis With Serum Agglutination, Complement Fixation and İmmunacob Tests

Öz

In this study, the use, efficacy and reliability of the commerical ImmunoCom b
test kit, which works according to the enzyme immunoassay principle, together
with other serological tests such as SAT and CFT in the detection of specific
antibodies against bovine brucellesis were investigated.
A total of 68 bovine sera obtained from brucellesis suspected as well as aborted cattle were examined with SAT,CFT and IC.38 (56%), 28 (41 %) and
38 (56%) sera were proved to be positive, respectively. Therefore, IC=SAT>CFT
. result was obtained in the detection of specific antibodies.
As a result, the use of İC, which is a sensitive, practical and rapid method,
together with other conventional tests working with different antibody groups
(IgM,IgG) such as SAT and CFT, was proved to be beneficial in the diagnosis
of the infection.

Sığır Brucellosis'inin Serum Aglutinasyon, Komplement Fikzasyon ve İmmunocomb Testleriyle Teşhisi

Öz

Bu çalışmada, sığırlarda brucella infeksiyonuna karşı oluşan spesifik
antikodann ortaya konulmasında rutin olarak kullanılan Serum Aglutinasyon
(SAT) ve Komplement Fikzasyon ( CFT) testlerinin yanısıra enzim immunoassay
prensibi ile çalışan ticari immunocomb test (IC) kitinin rutin uygulamaya dahil
edilip edilerniyeceği araştırıldı.
Abort yapmış veya bruceila şüpheli 68 sığırın kan serumlan SAT, CFT ve
lC testleri ile değerlendirildi . Sırasıyla, 38 (%56), 28 (%41) ve 38 (%56) pozitif
serum belirlendi. Buna göre, pozitifleri belirlemede IC=SAT>CFT sırası elde
edildi.
Sığır brucellosis 'nin serolojik teşhisinde, değişik antikor gruplan (lgM,IgG)
ile çalışan konvansiyonel testler (SAT,CFT,vs) yanısıra immunocomb gibi duyarlı,
pratik, çabuk ve saha koşullannda da yararlanılabilen bir testin de kullanılmasının,
infeksiyenun teşhisinde yararlı olacağı sonucuna vanldı.
