Balıkesir Yöresinde Snirsel Semptom Gösteren Koyunlarda Listeria Encephalitis Teşhisi

Abstract

Bu çalışma Balıkesir ilinde koyunlarda, sinirsel semptomlarla
seyreden hastalığın incelenmesi amacıyla yapıldı. Formolde tespit
edilmiş ve parafinde bloklanmış beyin dokusünda, histopatolojik ve
immunoperoksidaz boyama teknikleri kullanılarak, Listeria encephalitis
tespit edildi. Histopatolojik olarak karakteristik lezyonlar, pons
cerebri, cerebellum, m. oblongatada görüldü. Streptavidin-biotin immunoperoksidaz
boyamalarda; mikroapselerin şekillendiği adaklarda,
löykositlerin ve az olarak da makrofajların siteplazmaları içinde,
Listeria monocytogenes antijeni tespit edildi.

Diagnosis of Listeria Encephalitis Characterised by Nervous Symptoms in Sheep in Balıkesir Region

Abstract

In this study the disease which is characterised by nervous
symptoms in sheep in Balıkesir province was investigated. Listeria encephalitis
was detected in formaline fixed and paraffin embedded brain
tissues using by histopathologic and immunoperoxidase methods.
Typical histopathological lesions were observed in pons cerebri,
cerebellum, m.oblongata. L. monocytogenes antigens were determinated
in leucocytes and macrophages in the microabscesses foci. In
streptavidin-biotin immunoperoxydase stained slides bacterial antigens
were less in macrophages than leucocytes.
