Bu çalışma Etlik Merkez Veteriner Kontrol ve Araştırma Enstitüsü tarafından üretilen liyofilize attenue PPR (koyun- keçi vebası) aşısının -20°C ve +4 (+2/+8) oc dereceler arasındaki raf ömrünün saptanması amacıyla yapıldı. Araştırmada Etlik Merkez Veteriner Kontrol ve Araştırma Enstitüsü tarafından üretilen PPR 0277-4, PPR 0277-4A, PPR 0377-5 seri nolu aşıların raf ömürleri 24 ay süreyle kontrol edildi. Aşıların titreleri liyofilizasyon tarihlerinde PPR 0277-4 ve PPR 0277-4A seri nolu aşılarda ıo-6.4 - ıo-6 ·3 DKID50/ml olarak bulunur iken +4 (+2/+8) oc derecede depolanan aşılarda 24. ayda titrenin ıo-6 · DKID50/ml'e düştüğü , PPR 0377-5 seri nolu aşılarda 1 o-6 8 DKID50/ml olarak bulunur iken 24. ayda titrenin ıo-6 ·5 DKID50/ml'e düştüğü saptandı fakat bu düşüş istatistiki açıdan önemli bulun- madı. Aşıların -20°C de bekletilmesiyle titrelerinde değişiklik olmadığı belirlendi. Bu çalışma ile liyofilize attenue PPR (koyun-keçi vebası) aşısının -20°C ve +4 ( + 2/+8)°C dereceler arasındaki raf ömrünün 2 yıla (24 aya) çıkarılmasının uygun olacağı sonucuna varılmıştır.

"Determination of shelf- life of Peste des petits ruminants vaccine"
The aim of this study w as to determine the selflife of lyophilized attenue PPR vaccine (Sheep and Go at Plague) produced by Etlik Central Veterinary Control and Research Institute at between -20 °C and +4 (+2/+8) oc. At the study PPR 0277-4, PPR 0277-4A and PPR 0377-5 seri- al numbered vaccines had been controlled for 24 months. Whereas the titres of PPR 0277-4 and PPR 0277-4A serial numbered vaccines were deter mined as 1 o-6.4 - 1 o-6· 3 TCID50/ml at the lyophilized time, it was noticed that the titres were decreased to ıo-6· ı TCID50/ml after 24 months storage period at +4 (+2/+8) C. While the titre ofPPR 0377-5 serial numbered vaccines show ed 1 o-6· 8 TCID50/ml at the lyophilized time, it was decreased to 1 o-6 ·5 TCID50/ml after 24 months but it was found no significant statistically. It was noticed that there was no changes at the titres of the vaccines with storing them at -20 oc . According to the result of this study it will be can venient to extend the shelf-life of the PPR vaccine up to 24 months at -20 oc ve +4 (+2/+8) oc
