Otantik liderlik yaklaşımının okul müdürlerine bir çerçeve sunarak, öğretmenlerinin psikolojik sermayelerine katkıda bulunabilmelerini sağladığı düşüncesinen hareketle, bu araştırmada öğretmen algılarına göre okul müdürlerinin otantik liderlik düzeyleri ile öğretmenlerin psikolojik sermaye düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modeline göre desenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini İstanbul ilinin Pendik ilçesinde resmi ilkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan 212 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanması aşamasında otantik liderlik ölçeği ve psikolojik sermaye ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde pearson korelasyon analizi, bağımsız örneklem t testi ve ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre okul müdürleri kısmen yüksek düzeyde otantik liderlik davranışları göstermektedirler. Otantik liderlik düzeyi cinsiyete göre anlamlı şekilde farklılaşmaktadır. Öğretmenlerin psikolojik sermaye düzeyleri yüksek olarak tespit edilmiştir. Psikolojik sermaye düzeyi kıdem değişkenine göre anlamlı şekilde farklılaşmaktadır. Otantik liderlik ve psikolojik sermaye arasında pozitif yönde ve orta düzeyde ilişki tespit edilmiştir.
Considering that the authentic leadership approach provides a framework for school principals and enables teachers to contribute to their psychological capital, this study aimed to examine the relationship between school principals 'authentic leadership levels and teachers' psychological capital levels according to teacher perceptions. The research was designed according to the relational survey model. The sample of the study consists of 212 teachers working in public primary, secondary and high schools in Pendik district of Istanbul. Authentic leadership scale and psychological capital scale were used in data collection. Pearson's correlation analysis, independent sample t test and ANOVA test were used to analyze the data. According to the results of the research, school principals show a high level of authentic leadership behaviors. Authentic leadership levels differ significantly according to gender. Teachers' psychological capital levels were found to be high. Psychological capital level differs significantly according to the seniority variable. A positive and moderate relationship has been found between authentic leadership and psychological capital.
