Publication Ethics and Responsibilities
At Fabrika KUN Journal of Art, Design, and Space, editorial practices are conducted in accordance with the principles of scientific integrity and publishing ethics. In this framework, the responsibilities and ethical principles to be observed by authors, editors, the editorial board, and reviewers are outlined below.
Originality Requirement
Manuscripts submitted to Fabrika KUN Journal of Art, Design, and Space must be entirely original and must not have been previously published, either in whole or in part, in any medium.
In accordance with the journal’s Ethical Principles, manuscripts that are currently under review by another journal or submitted elsewhere for publication are not considered for evaluation.
However, studies derived from papers previously presented at scientific conferences may be published, provided that the title of the paper and the details of the scientific event are clearly stated in a footnote.
Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts submitted to Fabrika KUN Journal of Art, Design, and Space are screened for plagiarism using the Turnitin plagiarism detection software.
Manuscripts with a similarity rate of up to 10% (excluding quotations and references) are eligible for peer review.
Manuscripts with a similarity rate between 10% and 20% are returned to the author for revision prior to peer review.
Manuscripts with a similarity rate exceeding 20% are rejected outright, without a request for revision.
If ethical violations are identified during the peer-review process and the necessary corrections are not made, the manuscript will be rejected for publication.
