Abstract

Akıllı spor uygulamaları kapsamında yapılan bilimsel çalışmaların daha çok giyilebilir teknolojiler üzerine odaklanmış olması, motor sporlarının akıllı spor değer zincirinde yer almasına karşın bu alanda henüz bir bilimsel çalışmaya rastlanmamış olması söz konusu bu çalışmanın çıkış noktasını oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada ele alınan kavramlarla ilgili daha önce yapılmış olan çalışmalardan oluşan literatür gözden geçirilerek konuyla ilgili farklı bir yaklaşım sunulmuştur. İlgili literatürde net bir neden ortaya konmasa da rekreasyonel spor, sağlık, fitness, dinlenme ve boş zaman etkinliklerinin sürdürülebilirlik stratejileri açısından diğer sektörlerin gerisinde kaldığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışma ile Akıllı spor değer zincirinde yer alan motor sporları kapsamında Formula E’nin, verimlilik ve sürdürülebilirlik mesajını akıllı toplum ve Akıllı (smart) spor uygulamaları ile ekolojik kaynaklara yönelik talebin sürdürülebilirliğine odaklanarak, spor aracılığıyla bunun nasıl gerçekleştirilebileceğini, sporda inovasyon ve akıllı spor uygulamaları kapsamında Formula E örneğini bir ürün inovasyonu olarak ele alarak açıklamaya çalışmaktadır.

ADAPTATION OF THE GREEN ECONOMY AND ECO-INNOVATION APPROACH TO SMART SPORTS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF RECREATION AND SPORTS MANAGEMENT: THE EXAMPLE OF FORMULA E

Abstract

The starting point of this study is the fact that scientific studies conducted within the scope of smart sports applications are mostly focused on wearable technologies, and that although motor sports are included in the smart sports value chain, there has not been any scientific study in this field yet. Although a clear reason is not revealed in the relevant literature, it is seen that recreational sports, health, fitness, rest and leisure activities lag behind other sectors in terms of sustainability strategies. A different approach to the subject is presented by reviewing the literature consisting of previous studies on the concepts discussed in this study. With this study, within the scope of motor sports in the Smart sports value chain, Formula E's message of efficiency and sustainability, focusing on the sustainability of the demand for ecological resources with smart society and Smart sports applications, and how this can be achieved through sports.
