Communicative and Linguistic Functions of Television Sequences

Abstract

In this paper, we made a point of the effects of TV series on people who watch TV
series unconsciously. This effects are analyzed in terms of mentality, language, non-linguistic
elements and dressing style.
With this aim, we focused on theoritic chapter in second part of this paper and examined
the views of some scientists on TV such as Hickethier, Mikos, Lichtung and Fiske. Moreover,
surver questions are evaluated by using some data analysis programs such as Minitab, SPSS
and R.

TELEVİZYON DİZİLERİNİN İLETİŞİMSEL VE DİLBİLİMSEL İŞLEVLERİ

Abstract

Bu makalede şu anda Türkiye’de yayınlanan ve çoğu zaman bilinçsizce izlenen TV Dizilerinin
izleyici kitlesini düşünce, dil, dil dışı öğeler ve giyim tarzı gibi açılardan nasıl etkilediği ortaya
konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla çalışmanın II. bölümünde araştırmanın kuramsal kısmına ağırlık
verilip Hickethier, Mikos, Lichtung ve Fiske gibi televizyon bilimcilerin düşüncelerine yer verilmiştir.
Ardından çalışmanın bel kemiğini oluşturan anket soruları Minitab, SPSS ve R veri analizi programları
kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir.
