“TANRI PARÇACIĞI”: FELSEFİ BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Year 2012, Issue: 56, 78 - 93, 15.12.2012

Abstract

incelenecektir.

“THE GOD PARTİCLE”: PHİSOLOPHİCAL INTERPRETATİON

Year 2012, Issue: 56, 78 - 93, 15.12.2012

Abstract

In the last years, no scientific subject has attracted extensive attention like
the “the God Particle” (Higgs Boson) and the experiments related to it in CERN.
In this article, first of all, what this particle is and what is going on in CERN
will be introduced briefly. Later, erroneous beliefs that this particle proves either
the existence or the non-existence of God will be endeavored to be corrected.
Besides, an analogy that can be found between this particle and the hiddenness
of God will be covered. In addition, how philosophical deductions can be made
from the comprehension of universe with the help of mathematics will also be
examined. And finally, with the discovery of this particle, whether it will be possible
to solve the fundamental problems of physics or not, and the borders of
science will be studied.
