Güven, İnovasyon ve Ekonomik Büyüme İlişkisi

Abstract

İnovasyon, özellikle dünya ticaretinin daralması ile temel sorun haline gelen ekonomik büyümeye katkı sağlayan bir faktördür. İnovasyon kavramı “Endüstri 4.0” olarak ifade edilen Dördüncü Endüstri devriminin temel yapı taşlarından birisidir. Sosyal sermaye kavramı ise sosyolojik bir kavram olmasının yanı sıra, ekonomik ve siyasal sorunlara yönelik toplumsal ilişkileri de açıklamaktadır. Sosyal sermaye kavramının ekonomik büyüme başta olmak üzere birçok ekonomik probleme yönelik temel katkısı, sosyal sermaye ile artan güven düzeyinin sağladığı her türlü işlem maliyetini azaltmasıdır. İnovasyonun üretim üzerindeki etkisi, aynı hedefe yönelik çalışan kişi ve kurumlar arasındaki takım çalışmasının sağlanmasıdır. Sosyal sermaye olarak güvenin toplumsal ilişkiler üzerindeki bağlayıcı ve yakınlaştırıcı etkisi, inovasyon için gerekli olan takım çalışmasına önemli katkı sağlayacaktır. Güven, toplumda yenilikçilik ruhunun gelişmesine yönelik motivasyonu güçlendirmektedir. Bu bağlamda ekonomik büyüme, güven, inovasyon, AR-GE harcamaları arasındaki ilişki 32 OECD ülkesinin 2011-2015 dönemine ilişkin veriler dinamik panel veri ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda sosyal sermaye olarak güvenin inovasyon üzerindeki, inovasyonun ise büyüme üzerindeki etkisi anlamlı çıkmıştır.

Relationship Between Trust, Innovation and Economic Growth

Abstract

Innovation is a factor that contributes to economic growth, which has become the main problem, especially with the contraction of world trade. The importance of the concept of innovation is one of the basic building blocks of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is referred to as " Industry 4.0”. The concept of social capital, as well as being a sociological concept, describes social relations for economic and political problems. The main contribution of the concept of social capital towards many economic problems, especially economic growth, is the reduction of all kinds of transaction costs provided by the increasing level of trust with social capital. The impact of innovation on production depends on teamwork between individuals and institutions working towards the same goal. The binding and converging effect of trust as social capital on social relations will make an important contribution to the teamwork necessary for innovation. Trust as a social capital reinforces the motivation for the development of a spirit of innovation in society. In this context, the relationship between economic growth, trust, innovation and R&D expenditures The data for the 2011-2015 period of 32 OECD countries were analyzed with dynamic panel data. As a result of the study, the impact of trust as a social capital on innovation and innovation on growth has been significant.
