Onun doğa Felsefesinin temel görüşleri Pythagoras, Sokartes, Parmenides ve Herakleitos’a dayanır. Platon’un Tabiat felsefesinin anlaşılmasında Timaios’unu merkeze alarak kavramsal olarak öne çıkan hareket ve zaman, problematik olarak öne çıkan dört ezeli madde, gökler, uzay, doğa ve insan konuları doğa felsefesinin ana unsurları olarak ele alınmıştır
Plato detailed his views on natural philosophy in one of his latest dialogs, Timaios. His essential views on natural philosophy follow Pythagoras, Socrates, Parmenides and Heraclitus. For the understanding of Plato’s natural philosophy in the scope of Timaios, conceptually prominent motion and time, and problematically prominent four eternal elements, skies, space, nature and human are considered as the essential concepts
