Mythologies, The First Productions of Culture World

Abstract

This article is based on common points of mythology, philologyan philosophy. Mythology is a the common area of literatüre and thinking. Myths are real stories based on imagination. They also contain philosophical meanings. Metaphorical narrative in myth is the production of imagination. Philosophy makes the conceptualization and abstraction. People, firstly have thought with the senses and imagination. For the conceptual abstractions, some objects were reverenced metaphorically. Thoughts of awe, wonder and fear on unfamiliar objects have taken the form of gods. In fact, God for the first people represents everything that exceeds the human consciousness. So myths are efforts of primitive human societies, interpretation and understanding the universe, the earth, natural events. Mythology is poetic. Because the first people to be remain in memory told by measure and rhythm. Poetry is language of old people. There is no sharp line between mythology and poetry. According to Vico, myhthology has recorded humanitarian actions, as in the poem by Homer. Poetic Wisdom the world’s first wisdom. It gives us clues of social and politicial institutions. Philogy and philosophy from seeing each other assistance in this regard, can reach people’s way of thinking by examining in first institution. Philology comprises disciplines such as history, linguistics, etnology, antropology, folklore, literatüre, Their study area are histories of accurate and reliable of the oldest traditions. The histories are naturally preserved in the memory of community
