FELSEFİ DANIŞMANLIĞI "FELSEFİ" YAPAN NEDİR?

Abstract

Felsefi Danışmanlık, 1981 yılında Almanya’da Gerd Achenbach
tarafından başlatıldı. Çok geçmeden de Almanya, Fransa, Hollanda, İngiltere ve
Amerika’da eski bir geleneğin yeni versiyonu olan bir felsefe yapma tarzı ve
danışmanlık uygulaması olarak benimsendi. Felsefi danışmanlar, böyle bir
felsefe yapma tarzının meşruiyetini felsefe tarihindeki benzer uygulamalarla
temellendirirler.  Onlara göre, Sokrates’ten
başlayarak, Platon, Epikurosçuluk ve Stoacılarda bu felsefe tarzının izleri
görülür. Felsefi danışmanlar, felsefenin bir danışmanlık uygulaması
olabileceğiyle ilgili iddialarını, hayatta karşılaştığımız sıkıntı ve
sorunların birçoğunun felsefi olduğu tezine dayandırırlar. Onlara göre, sorunlarımız
hayatın bize sorduğu felsefi sorulardır. Bu soruların cevaplarına da ancak
felsefe yaparak ulaşabiliriz. Bir sorunun karşısında takındığımız tavır,
verdiğimiz tepki bizim zaman içinde oluşmuş felsefi anlamamızdır. Dolayısıyla,
felsefi anlamanın irdelenmesi, su üstüne çıkarılması aynı zamanda sorunların
nedenlerine de ulaşmamızı sağlar. Bu bakış açısı, bir yandan da felsefi
danışmanlığı alternatif bir danışmanlık türü yapar. O halde, felsefi
danışmanlığın, alternatifi olduğu psikolojik danışmanlıktan farkı nedir?
Felsefi danışmanlar için bu sorunun cevabı bu yeni danışmanlık türünün
“felsefi” olduğudur. Fakat bu da başka bir soruyu sordurur: Felsefi
danışmanlığı “felsefi” yapan nedir? Çalışma bu soruya cevap verdiği tezini
taşıyor.
