Abstract

Antikçağ Yunan felsefesinin en önemli inceleme konuları olan varlık ve bilgi problemleri, her filozofta birlikte ele alınmıştır. Eski Yunan filozofları en fazla varlık ve bilgi felsefeleriyle ilgilenmişlerdir. Bunlardan başka disiplinlerin sorunlarına yanıt ararken bile varlık ve bilgi felsefesini hesaba katmışlardır. Bu tür çalışmaların ana ıralayıcısı, bildiğimizin hep bir varolan olduğu kabulüdür. Bu nedenle varolanın neliğinin ve yapısı ile türlerinin ele alınması demek, aslında neleri bilebileceğimizin ortaya konması demektir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, bu iki disipline ait sorunların Antikçağ Yunan filozoflarında geçirdiği serüveni ve varlık felsefesi sorunları ile bilgi felsefesi sorunlarının aslında birlikte ele alınması gereğini ortaya koymaktır

On the Problems of Ontology and Epistemology in the Ancient Age

Abstract

The problems of ontology and epistemolgy are the most important discussion issues and these are always taken into consideration together. Ancient Greek philosophers mostly dealt with the problems that belong to ontology and epistemology. Even when they were searching answers for other disciplines, they took ontology and epistemology into consideration. The main characteristic of such discussion is the assumption that we can only know the thing that has being. Accordingly, to talk on the whatness and structure of the being is to expose the things that we can know. This paper focuses on Ancient philosophers who philosophize on both these issues. The aim of this paper is to expose the adventure of these problems along the philosophers of Ancient Greek and to show that the problems of ontology and epistemology should be taken together into consideration
