Many thinkers consider the scientific revolution that emerged in 17th century Western Europe as one of the most important events in human history. The scientific revolution has deeply affected human history in terms of both theoretical and practical results. Therefore, the aim of this study is to examine the subject of scientific revolution, both conceptually and historically. For this purpose, first of all, the concept of scientific revolution was analyzed, then Aristotelian science and its criticism were included, and finally, the establishment of modern science was discussed in the eyes of the scientists of the period. As a result, it can be said that the concept of nature design and method put forward by modern science is logically and semantically different from Aristotelian science, which legitimizes and justifies the concept of scientific revolution.
