Biosketch:
Ali Osman Solak received his B.S. in chemical engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, in 1974, and Ph.D. in 1981 from Hacettepe University. He joined the Faculty of Science (Department of Chemistry) at the Ankara University, in 1982. Prof. Solak worked with Prof. Richard L. McCreery’s group as a visiting professor at the Ohio State University, Chemistry Department for two years between June 2001 - June 2003. He is presently working for Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan since 2015.
