This article is meant to introduce the scholar Niẓām al-Dīn ʻUmar ibn ‘Alī al- Marghīnānī
(d. 1204-600). This scholar is known with the name of Ibn Sahib al-Hidayah.
His book Jawāhir al-Fiqh is the most well-known work among his books. This book
includes many of Hanafiah school’s summaries Mukhtasarat which most of them were
lost. Al-Marghinani classified the summaries according to his father’s category in his
book Al-Hidayah. The article is meant to discuss the most important manuscripts that are
located in Turkey. The article will, then, address the introductions mentioned in the book.
The article will discuss the author’s methodology in explaining and addressing topics. His
methodology in inference and weighting will be discussed also, in parallel with tracking
the sources of the book. Finally, the conclusion will be presented to point out the importance
of this book at the Hanafiah school, and to highlight the works of those scholars
who come from countries located behind the river at the seventh Hijri century.

المشهور بابن صاحب الهداية وبكتابه "جواهر الفقه"، هذا الكتاب الذي جمع فيه عددًا من مختصرات
الحنفية وأغلبها مفقود، وقام بترتيبها على ترتيب كتاب والده الهداية. فالمقالة تذكر أهم النسخ المخطوطة
الموجودة في تركية، ثم تتعرض للمقدمات المذكورة في الكتاب، ثم أسلوب مؤلفه في الشرح وعرض
المسائل، وطريقته في الاستدلالات والترجيحات، مع تتبع مصادره التي استقى منها كتابه، ثم خاتمة تبين
أهمية هذا الكتاب في الفقه الحنفي، وتلقي الضوء أيضاً على مؤلفات علماء ما وراء النهر في القرن السابع
الهجري.
