In intertextuality method method a writer composes a new text by gathering either other authors' different texts or his own. According to the method every text has impressions of previous ones. These impressions are carried into literary work in a rather transformed way. Selim İleri, in his Kırık Deniz Kabukları, coherently brings forth a new text by composing different writers' writings in which it is easy to see texts of Servet-i Fünun considerably take place. Selim İleri's work is mainly based on Halil Vedat's life Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil's son.
