Religious Music İn Çorum İn The Sufi Tradition

Abstract

As of its geographical location, the Anatolian lands of Çorum have been home to many civilizations and have successfully shaped the culture and art elements and turn them into a heritage passed down from generation to generation. Çorum province is just one of the places where this cultural and artistic heritage is intensely experienced. After the Çorum province, which has been a capital for Hittites that one of the ancient civilizations and has been under the rule of many principalities and states until today, was taken over by Turkish rule, this heritage has become even richer. This richness also manifested itself in the field of music, and the dense Mevlevi and Bektashi population in Çorum and its surroundings shaped this. As a matter of fact, the fact that the first Mevlevi lodges built in Anatolia are located in these lands is an indication of this. Traditional Turkish Religious Music is the carrier of this cultural heritage with is unique structure. However today it can be said that this heritage is endangered due to the forgetting of our cultural values and the dominance of popular culture. The work that we will try to introduce titled "Religious Music in Çorum in the Sufi Tradition," authored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ubeydullah Sezikli and Dr. İrfan Yiğit, is important in terms of introducing and preserving this heritage and transferring it to future generations.

Tasavvuf Geleneğinde Çorum'da Dinî Mûsikî

Abstract

Coğrafi konum itibariyle birçok medeniyete ev sahipliği yapmış Anadolu toprakları, bununla beraber kültür ve sanat ögesini de şekillendirerek kuşaktan kuşağa aktarılan bir miras haline getirmeyi başarabilmiştir. Çorum ili de bu kültür ve sanat mirasının yoğun yaşandığı yerlerden sadece birisidir. İlk çağ uygarlıklarından Hititlere başkentlik yapmasından günümüze kadar birçok beyliğin ve devletin egemenliğinde kalan Çorum ili özellikle Türklerin eline geçmesiyle bu miras daha da zenginleşmiştir. Bu zenginlik kendini mûsikî sahasında da göstermiş, Çorum ve çevresinde yoğun olan Mevlevî ve Bektaşî nüfusu da buna yön vermiştir. Nitekim Anadolu topraklarında inşa edilen ilk Mevlevîhânelerin bu topraklarda olması bunun bir göstergesi niteliğindedir. Geleneksel Türk Din Mûsikîsi de kendine has yapısıyla bu kültürel mirasın taşıyıcısı konumundadır. Ancak günümüzde kültürel değerlerimizin unutulmaya yüz tutması ve popüler kültürün baskın hâle gelmesiyle birlikte bu mirasın tehlikeye girdiği söylenebilir. Tanıtmaya gayret edeceğimiz Doç. Dr. Ubeydullah Sezikli ve Dr. İrfan Yiğit tarafından kaleme alınan “Tasavvuf Geleneğinde Çorum’da Dinî Mûsikî” adlı çalışma da bu mirasın tanıtılıp korunması ve gelecek nesillere aktarılması bakımından önem arz etmektedir.
