POLİ (ETİLEN OKSİT) - POLİ (METİL METAKRİLAT) KARIŞABİLİRLİĞİNİN VİSKOMETRİK TAYİNİ

Abstract

Poli (etilen oksit) ve poli (metil metakrilat) karışımlarının intrinsik viskoziteleri kloroformda bileşime bağlı olarak tayin edildi. Polimerlerin karışabilirliği Krigbaum ve Wall teorisinden, Δb parametresiyle karakterize edildi. Poli (etilen oksit) ile poli
(metil metakrilat)’ın karışabilir olduğu bulundu. Camsı geçiş sıcaklıklarından bu polimerlerin katı fazda da karışabilir olduğu gözlendi.

Abstract

The intrinsic viscosities blends of poly (ethylene oxide) and poly (methyl
methacrylate) have been measured in chloroform as a function of blend composition.
The miscibility of the polymer blend mixtures is characterized by parameter ∆b, from
the Krigbaum and Wall theory. It is found that poly (ethylene oxide) is miscible with
poly (methyl methacrylate). Using the glass transition temperatures of the blends it
was investigated that these polymers are also miscible in the bulk solid-state.
