IPv6 PROTOKOLÜNE GEÇİŞ MALİYET ANALİZİ ÇALIŞMASI

Öz

IPv4 protokolünden IPv6 protokolüne geçişte çeşitli donanım ve yazılım uyumsuzluklarının giderilmesi vegüvenliğin sağlanması gerekliliklerinden dolayı ek bir maliyet oluşumu söz konusudur ve bu maliyet her ülkeiçin sahip olunan bilişim altyapısının IPv6 destekleme oranına göre farklılıklar göstermektedir. Bu nedenle geçişstratejileri belirlenirken her bir yöntem için maliyet analizinin de yapılması gerekmektedir. Bu amaçla kamu veözel sektörün mevcut durumunun ve IPv6’ya geçilmesi durumunda duyacakları ihtiyaçların bilinmesi önem arzetmiş ve tarafların bilişim altyapısını ve IPv6'ya hazır olup olmadıklarını belirlemek amacıyla iki farklı anketçalışması yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, anketlerden elde edilen veriler ışığında kamu ve İSS'lerin IPv6'ya geçişkonusunda, altyapılarının genel olarak IPv6'ya hazır olmadığı, geçiş maliyetinin ise beklentilerin üstünde olacağıdeğerlendirilmektedir.
