Al-Si-Mg DÖKÜM ALAŞIMLARINDA FİLTRASYONUN MEKANİK ÖZELLİKLERE VE MİKROYAPIYA ETKİSİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, farklı hücre yoğunluğuna sahip seramik köpük filtrelerin Al-Si-Mg alaşımının mikro yapı ve mekanik özellikleri üzerine etkisi incelenmiştir.  Seramik köpük filtreler, bifilm, inklüzyon, kum sürüklenmesi, gaz veya çekme boşluğu gibi döküm hatalarını minimize edilmesinde kullanılmaktadır.  Deneysel çalışmalarda yatay yolluk üzerinde farklı hücre yoğunluğuna sahip seramik köpük filtreler (20 ve 30 ppi) kullanılmıştır. Al-Si-Mg alaşımının seramik köpük filtreler kullanılarak dökülebilirliği ile alaşımın mekanik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda, çekme testi sonuçları iki dağılımlı Weibull istatistiksel analizi ve kalite endeksi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Çekme test sonuçlarına göre, seramik köpük filtrenin hücre yoğunluğunun artmasına bağlı olarak sıvı metal hareketinin yolluk sisteminde kontrol edilebilmiştir. Al-Si-Mg alaşımın mekanik özelliklerinin iyileştiği Weibull modülü ve kalite endeksindeki artışıyla ile ortaya konmuştur.  Ayrıca, seramik köpük filtrenin hücre boşluk miktarının artması ile kalite endeksi de artmaktadır. Çekme numuneleri kırık yüzeyleri tarama elektron mikroskobunda (SEM) incelendi, kırılmanın intermetalik ikincil fazların, inklüzyon ve bifilm hataların yoğunlaştığı bölgelerde gerçekleştiği gözlenmiştir.
