In recent years, it is seen that, the importance of fairs are understood much better than before in Turkey. With this understanding many fairs are opened in different places of Turkey. Sivas Fair is one of these.In this article vve were mainly concentrated 011 describing the meaning of a fair, on its pecularities, and various forms of it in micro-socio-economic frame. Within this context, two different surveys are done, one lor the producer firms and the other for the consumers joining to Sivas fair. The article includes, the results and an interpretation of the research.The hypethesis of the research is tested. The research also includes, some remarks, and proposals, for the next fairs which should be established in coming years.
