Study Related to Informations, Consepts and Attitudes of The Students of Agricultural Faculty in Gaziosmanpasa University About the Green Food Products

Abstract

The world had entered in the process of the accelerated pollution. To minimize the effects of this pollution, the people must behave more responsible and sensitive about the environment. This study aimed to be determined the informations, concepts and attitudes of students of Agricultural Faculty about the green food products. In addition, the willingness related to the any more payment of the students could be exhibited for their consumption the green food products. For this aim, 66.38% of the 238 students that were determined with the purposeful sampling method and selected randomly pointed out that they heartedthe concept of the green food. 50% of student that defined the green food as ecofriendly, reported to be willing to buy by the more 1-5% payment for the healthy and eco-friendly green foods. To determine the students’ ideas and attitudes to warrant the green food products, the answers were received with asking the 11-19 variable questions, respectively, by using 5 point likert scale. The factory analysis was applied to collect under the certain sections of the very few variables. The students’ ideas related to the green food products were divided. The first idea was the excepted idea from the consumption. It was concluded that the students’ attitudes towards the green food products were summed up under 4 factories like the nutrition, healthy, environmental conscious and becoming conscious. As a result of this study, it was concluded that the students are willing to protect their healthies and the environment. According to the results of this study, their policies of the producers’ firms develops at this direction by further advertizing of the green food products

Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Öğrencilerinin Yeşil Gıda Ürünleri Hakkındaki Bilgi, Görüş ve Tutumları Üzerine Araştırma

Abstract

Dünya giderek hızlanan bir kirlenme sürecine girmiştir. Bu kirlenmenin etkilerini en aza indirmek için insanların daha duyarlı ve çevre konusunda daha sorumlu davranması gerekmektedir. Bu araştırmada, ziraat fakültesi öğrencilerinin yeşil gıda ürünleri hakkında bilgi, görüş ve tutumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin yeşil gıda tüketiminde bu ürünleri tüketebilmeleri için daha fazla ödeme yapma istekliliklerini ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaç için gayeli örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen ve tesadüfü seçilen 238 öğrencinin %66.38’i önceden yeşil gıda kavramını duyduğunu dile getirmişlerdir. Yeşil gıdayı çevre dostu olarak tanımlayan öğrencilerin %50.00’si, sağlıkları ve çevreyi koruyan yeşil gıdalar için, fazladan %1-5 aralığında fazla ödeyip almaya razı oldukları belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin yeşil ürünle ilgili düşüncelerini ve yeşil gıda ürünlerine karşı tutumlarını belirlemek için 5’li likert ölçeğini kullanarak sırasıyla 11 ve 19 değişkenli sorular yönelterek cevapları alınmıştır. Çok sayıdaki değişkeni belli başlıklar altında toplayabilmek için faktör analizi uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerin yeşil ürünle ilgili düşüncelerini; üretici ve üretimden beklenen ve talep ve tüketimden beklenen diye iki faktör altında toplanabileceği anlaşılırken, yeşil gıda ürününe karşı tutumlarını; beslenme, sağlık, çevre bilinci ve bilinçlendirme diye 4 faktör altında ifade edilebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları doğrultusunda, öğrencilerin çevreyi ve sağlıklarını korumaya karşı istekli oldukları görülmektedir. Buna göre, yeşil gıda ürünlerinin reklamının daha fazla yapılarak üretici firmaların politikalarını bu yönde geliştirmesi sağlanmalıdır.
