Internet of Things: Application Fields and The Current Situation in Our Country

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is the communication network that allows us to control the physical events in our environment and to analyze with monitoring them, which is covering with software, access services and devices. These physical events would be measurable attributes or control systems that production processes, energy networks, patient monitoring systems, recycling processes, transportation, smart buildings, shopping, retails etc. in such areas. Additionally devices and sensors in this network are organisms, which can be established communication between human-machine and machine-machine (M2M). There are several studies to analyze big data that is produced by the devices included in this organism and ensuring the safety of the data. In this research article; made an overview to the internet of things, application fields are examined with previous studies that have been identified and are given information about the current situation in our country

Nesnelerin İnterneti: Yapılan Çalışmalar ve Ülkemizdeki Mevcut Durum

Abstract

Nesnelerin İnterneti (IoT), çevremizdeki fiziksel olayları kontrol etmemizi ve takip ederek analiz etmemizi sağlayan cihaz, yazılım ve erişim hizmetlerini kapsayan bir iletişim ağıdır. Bu fiziksel olaylar, üretim süreçleri, enerji şebekeleri, hasta takip sistemleri, geri dönüşüm süreçleri, taşımacılık, akıllı binalar, alışveriş vs. gibi alanlardaki ölçülebilir büyüklükler veya kontrol sistemleri olabilir. Ayrıca bu ağda bulunan cihazlar ve algılayıcılar insan-makine, makine-makine (M2M) iletişimi kurabilen organizmalardır. Bu organizmaya dâhil olan cihazların ürettiği büyük veriyi analiz etmek ve bu verilerin güvenliğini sağlamak üzerine birçok çalışma bulunmaktadır. Bu araştırma makalesinde; nesnelerin internetine genel bir bakış yapılmış, önceki çalışmalarla tespit edilen uygulama alanları incelenmiş ve ülkemizdeki mevcut durum hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.
