Oscillatoria Türlerinin Tıbbi Özelliklerinin Araştırılması

Abstract

Siyanobakteriler içindeki en önemli gruplardan biri
olan Oscillatoria türleri,
yeryüzündeki farklı (deniz, tatlı, acı) su ortamlarında yaşayabilen ve ekstrem
şartlara dayanıklı türlerdir. Özellikle sığ sularda yayılış gösterirler. Bu
türler, ilaç hammaddesi olabilecek temel bileşenleri içerdikleri ve daha az
toksik oldukları için, tıbbi açıdan önem arz etmektedirler. Son yıllarda,
tıbbi açıdan bu alglere olan ilgi artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Oscillatoria
türlerinden elde edilen moleküllerin antibiyotik, antiviral, antikanser,
antifungal, antibakteriyal, antiinflamatuar özellikleri ve bazı farmakolojik
etkileri ortaya konulmuş; onların tıbbi özellikleri konusunda yapılan
araştırmalar tartışılmıştır.
