PHYSICAL AND PHYSIOLOGICAL COMPARISONS OF ELITE HANDBALL AND BASKETBALL PLAYERS
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to compare the physical and physiological profiles of elite Handball and Basketball players that were champion on/in their langue. 12 female handball players and 10 female basketall players participated to this study as subject. Their average age, height and body weight was for handball, 22±3.79 years, 178±7.07 cm and 63.60+9.11 kg. The result of field and labaratory measurament were analyzed boy student t test to determine the differences between groups. The results that, restign heart rate, veritical jump, anaerobic power, felxibility and hand grup scors of handball player were significantly different from basketball play or (P<0.05) but there was no sipnificaht difference ape, heihht, badey weight, fat 9b,lep strenghth, max V02 and 30 m sprint scores of teams (P>0.05)
