STUDENT SATISFACTION LEVEL ON A SPORT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student satisfaction level on a sport management program. 79-undergraduate sport management students with the grade 1 and 4 were participated this study. Data were collected by Student Satisfaction Scale (Baykal, Sökmen, Korkmaz & Akgün, 2002) to determine students' satisfaction level on the sport management program in Turkey. Descriptive statistics, independent t-test and one way ANOVA were used to analyze the data. Results revealed that female students were more satisfied than male students. Grade 1 students were more satisfied than grade 4. In addition, age groups, 21-23 and 24-30 were more satisfied than age group 18-20. It can be concluded that first grade students' level of expectation might be higher than fourth grade students. Moreover, students might accept the conditions offered via the educational period and their expectations may change during this period.
