THE EFFECT OF VISUAL AND VERBAL FEEDBACK ON THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE FORWARD SALTO MOVEMENT IN GYMNASTIC

Abstract

Effect of visual and verbal feedback on the accomplishment of the forward salto movement were studied at this research. 26 subjects (11 female, 15 male) who were the first year students at the Hacettepe University, School of Sport Sciences and Technology. Lesson objectives included in this study were the knowledge and comprehension level of cognitive domain and guided response level of the psychomotor domain. The pre-test and post-test research design employed. The data were gathered for cognitive domain by the multiple-choice test and for psychomotor domain by grading scale. In order to determine the reliability among the refrees that carried out the grading process, intraclass correlation technique was used while for analysing the data “t” test was used where the possible error ratio were 0.05. The results showed that statistically there was no difference between verbally and visually experienced groups.

CİMNASTİKTE ÖNE SALTO BECERİSİNİN ÖĞRETİMİNDE SÖZEL VE GÖRSEL DÖNÜTLERİN BAŞARIYA ETKİSİ

Abstract

Araştırma, cimnastikte öne
salto becerisinin öğretiminde görsel ve sözel dönütlerin başarıya etkisini
incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma, 1999-2000 öğretim yılında Hacettepe
Üniversitesi Spor Bilimleri ve Teknolojisi Yüksekokulu birinci sınıf öğrencilerinden
oluşan 11 kız, 15 erkek toplam 26 kişi ve bilişsel alanın bilgi, kavrama,
devinişsel alanın öğretmenle birlikte yapma düzeyleri ile sınırlıdır. Çalışmada
ön test-sontest araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Veriler, bilişsel alan için
çoktan seçmeli test, psikomotor alan için dereceleme ölçekleri kullanılarak
toplanmıştır. Dereceleme ölçeklerine göre puanlama yapan hakemler arası
güvenirliği hesaplama-da sınıf içi korelasyon tekniği, verilerin
çözümlenmesinde “t” testinden yararlanılmış, hata payı 0.05 olarak alınmıştır.
Araştırma sonuçlarına göre sözel dönüt kullanılarak ders işlenen grup ile
görsel dönüt kullanılarak ders işlenen grupların başarı düzeyleri arasında
istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olmadığı söylenebilir
