ANAEROBİK TEST SONRASI ANAEROBİK GÜÇ, KAPASİTE VE KALP ATIM HIZI DEĞERLERİNDE DİURNAL (GÜN İÇİ) DEĞİŞİMİN İNCELENMESİ

Year 2004, Volume: 9 Issue: 1, 61 - 70, 01.01.2004

Abstract

INVESTIGATION OF DIURNAL VARIATION IN ANAEROBIC POWER, CAPACITY AND HEART RATE VALUES AFTER ANAEROBIC TEST

Year 2004, Volume: 9 Issue: 1, 61 - 70, 01.01.2004

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the diurnal
variation in anaerobic power, capacity and heart rate values after anaerobic
test. Fifty trained boys aged between 17 to 23 years old (age: 19,14±1,62
years; training sta.: 2,57±0,98 years; weight: 68,08±7,25 kg.; height:
177,02±6,19 cm) participated voluntarily in this study. Anaerobic power and
capacity were determined at two different times of day (morning tests were
performed between 07:30 to 09:30h and evening tests were performed between
17:00 to 19:00h) by using Wingate test performed against a resistance of 75 g
per kg body mass. Anaerobic power (peak power) was defined as the highest power
output during the first 5-s period in the test, and anaerobic capacity (mean power)
was defined as the mean power output during the 30-s test. Moreover resting,
post test and first 5 minutes of recovery heart rate values with one minute
intervals were also recorded with telemetric system at the same time of day.
When Wingate test results were compared, morning-evening differences of peak,
mean and minimum power values were found significantly (p<0.01). Peak, mean
and minimum power values determined in evening tests were higher than morning
tests %3.3, %7.9 and %13.2 respectively. In addition, morning-evening
difference in resting, post-test and recovery heart rate values were also found
significantly (p<0.01). All recorded heart rate values in the evening were
higher than morning values. According to these results, significant diurnal
variations were found in anaerobic power and capacity and heart rate values
after anaerobic test.
