FİZİKSEL AKTİVİTENİN REAKSİYON SÜRESİNE ETKİSİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Year 2004, Volume: 9 Issue: 3, 49 - 58, 01.07.2004

Abstract

İstatistiksel analizler sonucunda, on hafta fiziksel aktivitenin
görsel basit, işitsel basit ve görsel seçmeli reaksiyon sürelerini geliştirdiği
tespit edilmiştir (p< 0.01).

AN INVESTIGATION ON EFFECTS OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY TO REACTION TIME

Year 2004, Volume: 9 Issue: 3, 49 - 58, 01.07.2004

Abstract

In this study, the changes on visual
simple, auditory simple and visual choice reaction time of physical activity investigated.
For this purpose, 45 subjects formed the subject group of whom avarage age was
41.3±6.9 and they were trained throughout ten weeks, one hour a day, in three
days a week. To compare this group, 51 subjects formed a control group of whom
avarage age was 43.4±6.0. SPSS packet program was used for statistical
analyzes, t test was used for double comparison. The results of the statistical
analyzes showed that the visu al simple, auditory simple and visual choice
reaction times were improved with ten weeks physical activity (p< 0.01).
