DÜZENLİ EGZERSİZ YAPAN ERKEKLERİN MENTAL REAKSİYON ZAMANI DÜZEYLERİNİN SEDANTERLERLE KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Year 2004, Volume: 9 Issue: 4, 41 - 50, 01.10.2004

Abstract

-3,033; p<0.01).

COMPARISION OF MENTAL REACTION TIME LEVELS OF MEN WHO HAVE REGULAR EXERCISE WITH SEDANTERS

Year 2004, Volume: 9 Issue: 4, 41 - 50, 01.10.2004

Abstract

Mean
mental reaction time of totally 75 men (age 41-76), 38 of whom have been
performing regular exercise training for 28.47 years, and 37 of whom are
sedentary individuals, was compared via General Occupational Ability Test after
the adjustment of variables such as age, height, and weight. Individuals performing
regular exercise training in their lives were found to have significantly
shorter mental reaction time than sedentary people (t(73)= -3,033; p<0.01).
