The Journal of Security Studies of the Turkish National Police Academy, Institute of Security Sciences was first published in 1998 and since then it has become one of the most pioneering and prominent journals in the field of security studies in Turkey. While the name of the journal was "Journal of Police Sciences" between 1998 and 2014, it has been changed to "Journal of Security Studies" as of 2014.
The Journal of Security Studies is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal operating on a continuous publishing model.
