Abstract
According to the historical records there were various festivals in the period of Huns in Turkish worlds. The celebrations of the nauruz (spring) used to be made by the water, platoes, and in mountain forests. This festival is known to be as an important factor in reflecting the beauty and difference of our nation\'s beliefs and their understanding of entertainment from the past to the present. In the period starting with the Huns and coming to an end with the Gök Turks, these traditional specifications show how nationalism came into being. One of the Turkish clans carrying the traditional activities of Huns and Gök Turks is Uighurs . After giving the importance of Nauruz Festival in the Huns, Gök Turks, old Uighurs and Kara Khans, in this work how especially Nauruz Festival has been celebrated in Uighur Turks have been dealt with.
Abstract
Tarihî kayıtlara göre Türk dünyasında Hun döneminde ortaya çıkan çeşitli bayram ve festivaller vardır. Nevruz/nevbahar günlerindeki faaliyetler, köylerde su kenarlarında, yaylalarda ve dağ ormanlarında yapılırdı. Bu bayram, milletimizin inanç ve eğlencelerini tarihten günümüze kadar getiren, bunların güzelliklerini ve farklılıklarını yansıtan önemli unsurlar olarak tanınmaktadır. Hun döneminden başlayıp Göktürk dönemine kadar olan süreçte bu ananevî hususiyetler millîleşme, dolayısıyla da milletleşme sürecinin temel taşlarının nasıl oluştuğunu gösterir. Hun ve Göktürklerin bu ananevî faaliyetlerini açık bir şekilde sürdüren Türk boylarından biri de Uygurlardır.
