To the Attention of Authors

Journal of Gazi Faculty of Education (JoGEF) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles in the field of education. It is published three times a year in April, August, and December.
JoGEF is a peer-reviewed, scientific journal that publishes original research articles, reviews, and reviews in theoretical and applied fields related to education. The journal’s English name prior to November 2025 was Gazi University Journal of Gazi Educational Faculty (GUJGEF), but it has now been changed to Journal of Gazi Faculty of Education (JoGEF).
As of November 2025, our journal continues its publication as an e-journal with the e-ISSN code 3108-5342; the previous ISSN code, 1301-9058, will no longer be used.
The journal’s languages of publication are English and Turkish. For articles uploaded to the system in Turkish as full text, an extended abstract in English is required after the article review process is completed. For articles uploaded to the system in English as full text, an extended abstract in Turkish is required after the article review process is completed.
Our journal conducts all article review processes and communication exclusively through the DergiPark system. Our journal does not have any other website address. Thank you for your interest and understanding.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1- Articles to be published in our journal require ethics committee approval. For articles that do not require ethics committee approval (e.g., document reviews), the necessary explanations must be provided, and the relevant documents must be uploaded to the system.
2- A similarity report generated using one of the internationally recognized similarity screening programs must be uploaded.
3- The Copyright Transfer Form, bearing the wet signatures of all authors, must be uploaded.
4- The Gazi Faculty of Education Journal template is currently being updated. 
5- Regarding our journal, it was announced at the ULAKBİM TR Index Social Sciences Committee meeting held on February 6, 2026 (Meeting No. 66) that its indexing in the TR Index for the year 2026 has been suspended, and that it will be reconsidered for the year 2027.
