The Syntactic Roles, and Grammatical Functions of Simple Relative Pronouns Qui, Que, Dont, O and their Turkish Equivalents

Abstract

In this article, the syntactic roles, grammatical functions of simple relative pronouns “ qui, que, dont, où “ and Turkish equivalents are studied. Efforts are made to find the problematic areas that might arise when teaching these pronouns to Turkish learners and to determine bases for the preparation of structural exercices.
