Beden Eğitiminde Temel Psikolojik İhtiyaçlar Ölçeğinin Türkçeye Uyarlanması

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Vlachopoulos, Katartzi ve Kontou (2011) tarafından
geliştirilen

Beden Eğitiminde Temel Psikolojik İhtiyaçlar Ölçeği’ni (
The Basic Psychological Needs in
Physical Education Scale BPN-PE
) Türkçeye uyarlamak ve psikometrik
özelliklerini incelemektir.
Orijinal
ölçek İngilizcedir ve üç faktörlü toplam 12 ifadeden oluşmaktadır. Türkçeye
çevrilen ifadelerin Türkçeye uygunluğu, anlam bütünlüğü ve dil geçerliliğini
sağlamak için İngilizce dil uzmanlarının görüşleri alınarak ölçeğe son şekli
verilmiştir. Ölçeğin Türkçe formu 405 ortaokul ve 412 lise öğrencisine
uygulandıktan sonra ölçeğin yapı geçerliği faktör analiziyle yapılmış ve analiz
sonucunda Türkçeye çevrilen ölçeğin de 12 ifadeden oluşacağı
kararlaştırılmıştır. Ölçeğin iç tutarlılığını belirlemek için ölçeğin her bir
faktörü (
ortaokul için 0,67 ile 0,75 ve lise
için 0,66 ile 0,76 arasında
)
ve ölçeğin tümü için Cronbach Alpha güvenirlik katsayılarının yeterli olduğu
sonucuna varılmıştır. Yapılan analizlerin sonuçlarına göre;
Beden Eğitiminde Temel Psikolojik İhtiyaçlar Ölçeği’nin üç faktörlü
yapısının hem ortaokul hem de lise öğrencileri için Türk kültürüne güvenilir ve
geçerli bir şekilde uyarlandığı yorumu yapılabilir.
