Targets Of the Young People in Expressing their Anger

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine to whom the high school and university students express their anger, and investigate this with respect to gender and educational status of the student. Subjects of this research are 309 students who were randomly chosen from Vocational Education School of Gazi University and Aksaray Anatolian Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational High School in 2000-2001 academic year. To collect data, a questionnaire which includes both personal information and the characteristics of the anger has been prepared by the researcher. Data have been analyzed by using frequencies, percents and chi-square technique. The results have shown that students usually express their anger to their mothers, friends and their younger sisters and brothers but avoid expressing it to the administrators, teachers, fathers and older brothers. Gençlerin Öfkelerini İfade Ettikleri Hedef Kişiler

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı üniversite ve lise öğrencilerinin öfkelerini daha çok kimlere ifade ettiklerini ortaya koymak ve bu durumu cinsiyet ve eğitim düzeylerine göre incelemektir. Araştırma grubunu 2000-2001 öğretim yılında Gazi Üniversitesi Mesleki Eğitim Fakültesine ve Aksaray Anadolu Otelcilik Turizm Meslek Lisesine devam eden öğrencilerden rastgele seçilen 309 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplamak üzere araştırmacı tarafından kişisel bilgileri de içeren, öfkenin özelliklerini belirleyen bir anket hazırlanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde sayı, yüzde ve kaykare kullanılmıştır. Bulgular öğrencilerin öfkelerini daha çok arkadaşlarına, annelerine ve küçük kardeşlerine ifade ettiklerini; yöneticilere, öğretmenlere, babalara ve ağabeylere ifade etmekten kaçındıklarını göstermiştir.
