There are 22 Art Teaching Programmes at the Departments of Fine Arts in Education Faculties in Turkey, 12 of which accept students for evening classes. Training these students is important from the point of training qualified art teachers. The problems in training future art teachaers should be eradicated.This study aimed to determine the opinions of the teaching staff working at Art Teaching Programmes on the problems of evening classes at Art Teaching Programmes. The study was conducted in 21 Art Teaching Programmes in Turkey in 2001-2002 academic year and the 323 teachers participated in the study. The data which were accepted valid and useful were obtained from 79.9 % of the population. In analyzing the data; frequency, percentage and chisquare (X2) were used. In data analysis .05 significance level was used and “SPSS 10 for Windows” statistics package was used. Türkiye\'de 22 tane Eğitim Fakültesinde Güzel Sanatlar Eğitiminin Resim-İş Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalları açık olup bunların 12 tanesi II. Öğretime de öğrenci almaktadır. Nitelikli sanat eğitimcilerinin yetişmesinde bu öğrencilerin eğitimi önemli bir faktördür. Türkiye\'nin geleceğinde etkin roller alacak resim-iş öğretmeni adaylarının eğitiminde karşılaşılan sorunların giderilmesi gerekmektedir.Bu araştırma ile Türkiye\'de resim-iş öğretmenliği anabilim dallarında görev yapan öğretim elemanlarının, Türkiye\'de resim-iş öğretmenliği anabilim dallarındaki II. Öğretiminde karşılaştıkları sorunların çözümüne ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
