The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of a 8-week jog-walk exercise program on some physiological, motoric parameters and somatotype of sedentary middleaged obese females. Average age and height of experiment (n=15) and control (n=10) groups were determined as 39,13±5,41 years and 155,27±5,97 cm. for experiment group and 38,20±3,99 years ; 158±3,79 cm for control group. The subjects who participated in this study had not attended any physical activity properly and had not serious healty problem. During 8 weeks, while control group had normal daily duties, experiment group participated in jogging-walking exercise program that was followed 3 times per week and each session included 35-40 minutes. Intensity of exercise was 40-60 % that was determined by Karvonen method. Bu çalışma, sedanter orta yaşlı obez bayanlara sekiz haftalık aerobik (koş-yürü) antrenman programının fizyolojik,motorik ve somatotip değerleri üzerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Deney grubunun (n=15) yaş ve boy ortalamaları 39,13±5,41 yıl ve 155,27±5,97 cm, kontrol grubunun (n=10) yaş ve boy ortalamaları 38,20±3,99 yıl ve 158±3,79 cm olarak tespit edildi. Gruplar, düzenli olarak egzersiz yapmamış, özel bir diyet programı uygulamayan, egzersiz yapmasına engel olacak düzeyde sağlık problemleri olmayan bayanlardan oluşturuldu. 8 hafta süre ile kontrol grubu normal günlük aktivitelerine devam ederken, deney grubuna haftada 3 gün 30-45 dakika süre ile koş-yürü egzersiz programı uygulatıldı.
