Abstract

Traditions (riwayat), which are among the primary sources of tafsir, play a central role in understanding and interpreting the Qur’ān. The works classified as Kitāb al-Tafsīr prioritise the categorisation of traditions that have been transmitted over centuries in the field of tafsīr. This study examines the work entitled The Literature of Kitāb al-Tafsīr: Hadith and Tafsīr in the Formative Period, authored by Mustafa Yasin Akbaş, which addresses this important issue.

Kitâbu’t-Tefsîr Literatürü: Teşekkül Döneminde Hadis ve Tefsir

Abstract

Tefsirin temel kaynaklarından olan rivayetler, Kur’ân’ı Kerîm’in anlaşılmasında ve yorumlanmasında merkezi bir role sahiptir. Kitâbu’t-tefsir eserleri tefsire dair asırlar boyu nakledilen rivayetlerin tasnifinde öncelik etmektedir. Bu çalışmada söz konusu meseleye yön veren Mustafa Yasin Akbaş’ın telif ettiği Kitâbu’t-Tefsîr Literatürü: Teşekkül Dönemide Hadis ve Tefsir isimli eseri incelenmektedir.
