Abstract

Postoperative Bromoderma Due to Rocuronium Bromide Exposure: Case Report

Year 2025, Volume: 35 Issue: 3, 569 - 571, 30.06.2025

Abstract

Bromoderma is a dermatological condition characterized by skin eruptions resulting from the oral intake, inhalation, or direct contact with substances containing bromide. Although several bromide-containing medications are available in our country, bromoderma remains a rare clinical presentation. We present a case of bromoderma that developed as a secondary reaction to the use of an anesthetic agent during surgery for decubitus ulcers in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
