Abstract

Selçuk Üniversitesi, Tıp Fakültesi, Fiziksel Tıp ve Rehabilitasyon Anabilim Dalı, Konya Temporomandibular eklem TME , morfolojik olarak kişiden kişiye değişkenlik gösteren bir eklemdir. Çiğneme kasları, temporo- mandibular eklem ve temporomandibular ekleme komşu dokuların çoğunlukla ağrılı, fizyolojik ve fonksiyon bozuklukları tempora- mandibular rahatsızlık olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Tanı ve tedavi yöntemlerindeki gelişmeler özellikle de görüntüleme tekniklerindeki ilerlemeler TME anatomisi ve fonksiyonlarını daha iyi değerlendirmemizi sağlamıştır. Hastalar artan ağrı ve TME disfonksiyonu nedeniyle tedavi arayışı içindedir. Bu derlemede TME rahatsızlıklarının sınıflandırılması, tanı ve tedavisi hakkında bilgi verilmesi amaçlandı

Abstract

Classification, diagnosis and treatment modalities of temporamandibular disorders Temporomandibular joint, morphologically variable from person to person. Temporomandibular disorders refers to the muscles of mastication, temporomandibular joint and temporomandibular adding adjacent tissues is often painful, refers to the physiological and functional disorders. Developments in diagnosis and treatment have enabled us to better evaluate the TMJ anatomy and functi- on. Patients should seek treatment because of increasing pain and temporomandibular joint dysfunction. In this review, we aimed to provide information about the classification, diagnosis and treatment modalities of temporomandibular joint disorders
