Turkish Journal of Genetics and Molecular Biology aims to publish studies of the highest scientific quality in the fields of genetic biotechnology, genetic engineering, and microbiology.

The journal seeks to contribute to the literature by publishing original research articles, reviews, case reports, and technical notes across all areas of biotechnology, genetic engineering, microbiology, toxicology, developmental genetics, bacteriology, virology, molecular microbiology, enzymology, cell biology, cancer genetics, plant genetics, and bioinformatics.
