Beyond the Xanthos Valley III: Notes on the Coinages of Thibãnuwã and of Khinakha from Central-Lycia and on the Transfer of Pictorial Elements between Different Mints

Abstract

Recently discovered specimens of the coinages belonging to Thibãnuwã and Khinakha respectively add important information to the knowledge about the rule of these two dynasts in the highlands of Central-Lycia. They complement our picture of the regions political-geography before and after the reign of Kuprlli.

Öz

Thibãnuwã ve Khinakha'ya ait sikkelerin yakın zamanda keşfedilen örnekleri, bu iki hanedanın Orta Likya'nın dağlık bölgelerindeki yönetimleri hakkındaki bilgilere önemli bilgiler katmaktadır. Kuprlli'nin hükümdarlığından önce ve sonra bölgenin siyasi-coğrafyasına dair resmimizi tamamlıyorlar.
