Abstract
In this study, 80 raw milk samples from cows were examined for motile aeromonads. Motile aeromonads were isolated from 23 (28.7%) of milk samples. Out of 23 isolates, 15 (65.3%) were identified as Aeromonas hydrophila 7 (30.4%) as A. sobria and 1 (4.3%) as A. caviae. Voges Proskauer and lysine decarboxylase test which are thought to play important roles in the pathogenicity of motile aeromonads, 18 (82.6%) and 16 (69.5%) strains were found to be positive, respectively.

Araştırmada, 80 adet çiğ inek sütü, hareketli aeromonaslar yönünden incelendi. İncelenen sütlerin 23’ünden (%28.7) hareketli Aeromonas türleri izole edildi. İzole edilen 23 adet suşun, 15’i (%65.3) A. hydrophila, 7’si (%30.4) A. sobria ve 1’i (%4.3) A. caviae olarak identifiye edildi. Hareketli aeromonasların patojenitesinde önemli rol oynadığı düşünülen biyokimyasal özelliklerinden, Voges Proskauer testinde 19 (%82.6), lizin dekarboksilaz testinde 16 (%69.5) suşun pozitif olduğu saptandı.
