METAVERSE VE METAGİRİŞİMCİLİK: KAVRAMSAL BİR ÇERÇEVE

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, son birkaç yılda yaygın olarak duyulmaya başlayan bir kavram olan Metaverse ve onun etkisi ile ortaya çıkmış olan Metaverse Girişimcilik kavramını incelemektir. Girişimciliğin yeni boyutu olarak ortaya çıkan ve geleneksel girişimcilikten farklı özelliklere sahip olan MetaGirişimcilik, teknolojik gelişmelerin paralelinde ortaya çıkmıştır ve gelişim sürecini devam ettirmektedir. Bu çalışmada, gerçeği aratmayacak sanal ortamlarda yürütülen MetaGirişimcilik faaliyetinin temel özellikleri, olumlu ve olumsuz yönleri incelenmiştir. Bunun dışında MetaGirişimcilerin başarılı olabilmeleri için dikkatle üzerinde durmaları gereken konular değerlendirilmiştir. Metaverse’ nin boyutları ve bileşenlerinin de incelendiği bu çalışma sonucunda görülmüştür ki, girişimcilik faaliyetleri yeni bir döneme doğru geçiş yapmaktadır. Girişimcilerin pazar koşulları değişmekte ve yeni ekonomik sistemler ortaya çıkmaktadır. Teknoloji yatırımlarına ağırlık veren ve Metaverse pazarında ilk olan girişimcilerin rekabeti şekillendireceği bir gerçektir; ancak bu yeni pazar koşularında ihmal edilmemesi gereken yasal, sosyal, kültürel ve psikolojik konular da vardır. Bu sebeple Metaverse konusu çok disiplinli olarak ele alınması gereken bir konudur. Bu çalışma özellikle sosyal bilimler alanındaki Metaverse ve MetaGirişimcilik konusundaki bilgi birikime katkı vermeyi de amaç edinmiştir.
