Social capital, through trust, solidarity, and social networks, stands out as an important resource for ethnic entrepreneurs in their business establishment and development processes. This study examines the relationship between social capital and ethnic entrepreneurship through a literature review in the Web of Science (WOS) database. The main purpose of the study is to bring a new perspective to the literature in this field by analyzing the impact of social capital on ethnic entrepreneurship processes. In this direction, selected studies in the international literature are examined, the concepts of social capital and ethnic entrepreneurship are discussed in detail and the theoretical background supporting these concepts is presented. In addition, the theoretical framework of the research was strengthened by evaluating the similarities and relationships between the analyzed studies. The evaluations show that social capital has a determining effect on entrepreneurial performance and business success. In particular, family ties, social identity, and cultural belonging play an important role in ethnic entrepreneurial activities. The findings demonstrate the impact of social capital on ethnic entrepreneurship and the strong relationship between these two concepts. The results of this study provide information that may be particularly useful for academics, entrepreneurs, and business owners.
